An ethnographic documentary about body suspension based on research conducted during the summer of 2023. 42 mins
The first draft of many; this is an ongoing long-term project and I have filmed a lot more since I made this version. This project is a collaboration between myself and the many suspension practitioners who have welcomed me and shown me great generosity. Forever grateful, and in awe of every one of you.

My undergraduate thesis, titled “Skin Meets Hook: An Ethnograph of Body Suspension” received high honors from Wesleyan University’s anthropology department. This documentary was made alongside and in conversation with the written work.
